By purchasing an NBD membership, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Membership & Listing

• Membership provides inclusion on the Novant BIPOC Doulas (NBD) website according to the selected tier.
• NBD reserves the right to approve, edit, or remove provider listings to maintain accuracy, quality, and alignment with NBD standards.
• Membership does not guarantee client referrals, bookings, or income.

Professional Standards

• Members must maintain professionalism, ethical conduct, and culturally responsive care practices.
• Members are responsible for ensuring all credentials, certifications, and representations of services are accurate and current.
• Any conduct that misrepresents NBD or partner organizations may result in removal without refund.

Independence & Liability

• NBD does not employ, supervise, or manage doulas listed on the site.
• Members operate as independent practitioners and are solely responsible for their services, agreements, insurance, and client outcomes.
• NBD, its producers, and partners are not liable for services rendered by listed providers.

Content & Media

• By submitting photos, bios, and videos, members grant NBD permission to display this content for directory and promotional purposes.
• Content must be respectful, accurate, and aligned with the mission of culturally affirming maternal care.

Payments, Renewals & Refunds

• Membership fees are non-refundable.
• Memberships are valid for the stated term and must be renewed to maintain active listing status.
• NBD reserves the right to update pricing, benefits, or site features with notice.

Right to Amend

• NBD reserves the right to update these terms as needed to support the integrity, sustainability, and mission of the collective.
