As someone who has been in the position of birthing mother, and holds the hands of many women and families along their own birthing paths - I know how vital it is for us to know how and where to source the care we need, highlight ideal contexts for what we prefer, and communicate what we hope for - proactively and effectively.

Birth plans are not pieces of paper. They are discussions, research, education, and collaborations that influence safe and confident tones and environments for birth.
